TeAda Productions is excited to announce CreAtive Healing Lab (CHL) which will take place from October 2025 through June 2026. As part of this series, all-star guest teaching artists will facilitate workshops that combine the arts, social justice, and collective healing. The goal of CHL is to be a sanctuary-third place for community to gather, process current events, imagine sustainable futures, community-build, and heal through sharing space and creating art.
The 3rd workshop of the Spring is titled “Spring Activation: Seeds of Vision & Blooming Dreams” and will be led by Carla Vega.
About the workshop: Carla shares tools from her years working in the arts — theater, movement, voice, poetry, healing, including the frame of “Aloha” & “Mahalo” from the TeAda Methodology — to create a brave and safe space for artists or anyone wanting to take some time for themselves to center their energy, reflect to get present, ground in community.
In this potent workshop, we will explore, embody, connect to self, hopes, dreams and our collective humanity more deeply.
Wear comfortable clothing, bring a journal/pen (paper/pens will also be provided), your presence, and an open heart!
About the facilitator: Carla Vega is a multi-disciplinary performing artist. Currently splitting her time between LA & SF, Carla is a member of the Belonging Resident Company, Cali & Co., and Playground-LA & SF. Some recent projects: Carla recurs as “Tana Lee” on “CROSS” on Prime, and is the narrator of award-winning audiobook thriller “Things We Do in the Dark”. Carla believes in the power of the arts to touch the heart of our humanity, inspire a deeper connection with our personal stories & ancestries, heal, ignite compassion, and create positive social change.
