CHL Workshop: "Home Is: Personal Narrative in Music" - Los Angeles, CA

  • West Los Angeles United States (map)

TeAda Productions is excited to announce CreAtive Healing Lab (CHL) which will take place from October 2025 through June 2026. As part of this series, all-star guest teaching artists will facilitate workshops that combine the arts, social justice, and collective healing. The goal of CHL is to be a sanctuary-third place for community to gather, process current events, imagine sustainable futures, community-build, and heal through sharing space and creating art.

The 6th workshop of the Spring is titled Liberation in Motion: A Performance Art Workshop and will be led by Tanner Pfeiffer & Socks Whitmore.

About the workshop: We will explore musical connections to home and how we can express our feelings about home through music. Share your experiences about your relationship with where you live and the place you call home through meditative and energizing musical activities. No musical experience required!

About the facilitator: Tanner Pfeiffer is a culture crafter and sound syncretist working at the intersection of community studies, semiotics, pedagogy, and sociolinguistics. Research areas include queer music of Ibero-America, polystylistic performance, and music as an agent for community building.
