What is a watch party? It’s a communal virtual experience where you can watch the show for free and interact with the cast: Leilani Chan, Ova Saopeng and Lidet Viravong who will moderate a Q&A with Special Guests from the Lao community.

ABOUT THE PLAY:
REFUGEE NATION, is a play based on the collection of oral histories from Lao communities across America. Artistic Director Leilani Chan and Ova Saopeng created this play to illuminate the impacts of war and the refugee experience touching upon many uncertainties: relocation, resettlement, assimilation, generational divide and mental illness with the backdrop of Lao New Year.
