TeAda Productions is excited to announce CreAtive Healing Lab (CHL) which will take place from October 2025 through June 2026. As part of this series, all-star guest teaching artists will facilitate workshops that combine the arts, social justice, and collective healing. The goal of CHL is to be a sanctuary-third place for community to gather, process current events, imagine sustainable futures, community-build, and heal through sharing space and creating art.
The 1st workshop of the series is titled “Claiming Your Leadership & Artistry” and will be led by Riyaana Hartley.
About the workshop: We all have our own natural, authentic expressions of leadership and artistry. Even if you are not in a leadership role, even if you don't have art in a gallery or songs on the radio, this is true for you. If you don’t identify as a leader or an artist, or if those aspects feel distant, I promise they are alive within you. They just haven't been acknowledged, welcomed and honored.
In this workshop, we'll explore the various ways in which your leadership shows up. We’ll play with the unique expressions of your artistry. Through movement, writing, toning, breathwork and meditation this exploration will celebrate your innate passion, expertise and creative process. Let’s expand your connection to the joy, satisfaction, power and freedom that comes with claiming your natural expression.

About the facilitator: Riyaana Hartley is a creative professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, film production, wellness, cultural and personal development. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, her mission is inspired by her own story of escaping apartheid, living in the US undocumented, finding identity in hip hop culture, achieving success in corporate America and then walking away from it all to align creative and spiritual work with ethical entrepreneurship.
Overcoming the obstacles and internalized oppression on her own journey, Riyaana honed the skills and depth of compassion to empower and initiate others. She now serves artists, entrepreneurs, healers, teachers, change agents, thought leaders and organizations using the power of story, intuition, creative expression and self trust. Whether crafting your personal brand, rewriting your narrative, uncovering your essence or clarifying what it is you really do, expect her work and loving witness to illuminate new paths, unburden your past and shift your self perception.
