TeAda Productions is excited to announce CreAtive Healing Lab (CHL) which will take place from October 2025 through June 2026. As part of this series, all-star guest teaching artists will facilitate workshops that combine the arts, social justice, and collective healing. The goal of CHL is to be a sanctuary-third place for community to gather, process current events, imagine sustainable futures, community-build, and heal through sharing space and creating art.
The 5th workshop of the series is titled “Glowing Liberation” and will be led by Glow.
About the workshop: This candle-making session invites participants to engage in a co-creative healing space rooted in ancestral knowledge and contemporary struggles for justice. Led by an Indigenous Mexican teaching artist, the workshop weaves together art, cultural storytelling, and climate-conscious practices, offering each participant a flame of resilience and collective care.
About the facilitator: Glow, creator of Up Zell, leads candle workshops that blend sustainability with ancestral practices. Their art, rooted in Indigenous wisdom, continues to expand across mediums like sculpture, printmaking, and poetry. Each offering invites participants to create while honoring memory and possibility.
