TeAda is reaching out to keiki (ages 13-21) to participate in an upcoming 5-day theater, storytelling, & movement workshop to explore the “Kalihi-Verse” that centers the community of Kalihi. The program will teach young people leadership & advocacy skills that will culminate in a public performance creation.
TeAda Productions is excited to announce that this collaborative workshop series is in partnership with KKV (Kōkua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services) entitled:
Into da Kalihi-Verse: Youth Creative Leadership & Advocacy Program
In this 5-day intensive we introduce The TeAda Methodology, a process that weaves theater, storytelling & movement. Participants will explore their creative self expression, share personal stories, & build collective power to strengthen their leadership & advocacy.
