Over the past 5 days, TeAda Productions, Kōkua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, and young people from Kalihi and across the 'āina participated in:
Into the Kalihi-Verse: Youth Creative Leadership & Advocacy Program
In this 5-day intensive we introduced The TeAda Methodology, a process that weaves theater, storytelling & movement. Participants explored their creative self expression, share personal stories, & build collective power to strengthen their leadership & advocacy.
As a way to celebrate, and culminate all of the powerful work that has come from this workshop, we are hosting a public performance on:
August 2: (4 - 6pm) @ Kalihi Community of Christ Church
